For 15 years we put up all our energy to run some reggae around France ; 15 years, trying to give a hand in the making of the corner stone of music: Reggae; 15 years trying to make OUR SOUND, OUR MUSIC, untouched, undounted, always going forward, making the best of ourselves on stage and in studio… Always respecting the support of our reggae fans and friends to whom you belong.
15 years of communal life, together and with you
We have overcome many tests and challenges : departure of member, transformation of the music industry in France (also the threat that mp3 downloading represents for small live bands like us), fight against « the big bullies » (majors, mass medias...) ; 15 years of fight to keep what is for us the essense and that has born us : the defense of our freedom and the right to by and for our musical selves and our belief that together, with the same ideal, we can make it happen at the end. We made choices, important choices, for our lives and the life our our music : such as in 2001, in the middle of the French Reggae boom, when we refused several contracts with major reggae Lables in order to stay free and always voice the truth. Today it's another decision we have to make, a decision that we have to explain to all of you who have supported our ways for so many years. After all these years spent together, it is time for us to take a real break, to go each in our way in order to scout for fresher weed in all the corners of the world. It is time for us, while we still can, to go and find new inspiration, ways of life, sounds, friendships, connections... time to live something else, to relax, to recharge the batteries, step back to see better. To lose ourselves to finally find ourselves again, full of new reggae powers. Hold it right there!!!. Our story is not over. Don't you go and think that it's the end. It's a necessary pause to breathe fresh air. We have a commitment within ourselves and to achieve our legacy, we have 4 mor albums to make. We will make them! This it just half time for us. We have had no rift, fuss or fight. We're still together as one, and it is as one that we decided to burn it in order to rebuild it new Meanwhile, we want to keep in touch with you. We all have interesting ideas and opportunities : some join new tours, or new bands or new artists (Anis, Timike, Odysée Jamaique), some have personal goals (solo albums in the making), some have projects for children... We're still young, and we want to take the time to do what we need now, and come back together satisfied and full of ourselves and the world. But before we disappear for a while, we want to make a last tour for you and to return to the places that saw us grown (cafés-concert, festivals associatifs, etc). So we have planned a tour that will last until october 2007, the tim we have chosen for our break.
