Roots Reggae is big in Indonesia and it is as common to see an outstanding reggae performance in a dark night spot as in the club of a 4 stars hotel.
Bandung is the reggae capital of Indonesia and hundreds of their bands play countrywide, too few internationally. Steve & the Coconut Trees is a rising reggae band, starting to pull out serious recordings. They are based in Jakarta and as most indonesian reggae bands, they are hard to find in stores or online, and when you're not in Indonesia, there's no way to get hold of their tunes. Below you can find the 3 only tunes i could find (from www.deviantart.com). They're a little cheesy, but i heard of my rat about much more bouncing tunes and mad concerts...
